Electric motors division, Cebi Motors Spa is looking for a Quality Engineer responsible for ensuring that the products produced meet the quality standards required to minimize the quality costs and maximize customer satisfaction whilst ensuring that procedures and processes are adhered to.

Responsible for identifying and raising quality issues and for speedily resolving them to ensure zero impact to the customer. Support new product introductions to ensure the robustness of product builds. Work in a team environment to develop and implement best practices that emphasize defect prevention, reduction in variation and waste and provide for continuous improvements in meeting all customer requirements. Responsible for multiple projects requiring innovative original solutions where results are key to successful completion of major projects.

Your Mission

  • Identify root cause and instigate permanent corrective actions for product quality issues;
  • Manage all quality-related issues within the manufacturing team;
  • Develop and implement methods for sampling, inspection, testing and evaluation of products and processes;
  • Develop and implement statistical methods and design experiments to support process control, process/product improvement;
  • Support Research and Development and manufacturing departments to ensure successful transition of products and processes from design to production;
  • Initiate process and test methods and procedures for disposition of nonconforming material and ensure that effective root cause analysis is conducted;
  • Track the implementation of corrective/preventive actions;
  • Develop and initiate standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation;
  • Develop and write internal specifications, control instructions and internal test methods. Ensure control plans and associated documentation are implemented effectively and maintained;
  • Assist with first off sample approvals (Internal Full Run test);
  • Promote the use of customer preferred techniques for continuous improvement such as Six-Sigma, Poka-Yoke (Error Proofing), and Measurement System Analysis;
  • Participate in cross-functional teams in the development of new products or changes related to current products;
  • Participate to DFMEA and PFMEA.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor or Master degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (engineering);
  • Knowledge of quality tools;
  • Understanding of measurements, engineering drawings, manufacturing process and using measurement's instruments;
  • Knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) is a plus;
  • Knowledge of Minitab is a plus;
  • Knowledge of AIAG standards with the main focus on process control (Statistical Process, Control, Process FMEA, Control Plan, Measurement System Analysis), roots cause analysis is a plus;
  • Proficient Microsoft Office;
  • Precision, accuracy, problem solving approach and good interpersonal relationship;
  • Ability to elaborate data effectively;
  • Team working and communication skills;
  • Good English level (min B2).
