Cebi International S.A., the mother company of the group based in the same premises as Cebi Luxembourg S.A., is looking for an IT Business Application Administrator Junior or Trainee for its IT department.

The business Application Administrator manages business applications from the IT point of view. He collaborates with the business, the IT Infrastructure department and the software providers for all IT related topics.

The Business Application Administrator has responsibilities in the administration of business applications, as well in the support of the end-users across global Cebi organization.

Your Mission:

  • Ensure proper integration of the software applications in the IT architecture ( installation , performance, security, backup…) with the support of the Enterprise Architect
  • Monitor the applications, document and analyze problems
  • Plan, coordinate, test and communicate upgrades, maintenances and changes, ensuring business operations in the different environment
  • Work closely with the Application Owners to maintain and improve the business applications
  • Work closely with the corporate Information Security Manager to assure compliancy with information security standards and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) EU 2016/679
  • Manage user accounts and access rights
  • Administrate the application-related databases
  • Execute new projects under the responsibility of our Project Manager
  • Provide level 2 support (level 1 support performed by the local Key users)
  • Manage level 3 support (represented by the software providers)
  • Proactively manage risks, issues and opportunities and propose reliable solutions
  • Provide and maintain all installation, administration, support and project  documentation related to the application

Your Profile:

  • Provide and maintain all installation, administration, support and project  documentation related to the application
  • Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent or trainee in final year of studies
  • Able to understand the workflows and process requirements of business operations related to the application
  • Able to provide customer service and work well with diverse group of customers
  • Able to be the subject matter expert in supporting, maintaining, and administering the business applications
  • Database administration knowledge
  • Collaborate with other members of the IT team to provide seamless support
  • Excellent problem solving / analytical skills, knowledge of analytical tools, and complex troubleshooting methods
  • Selfmotivated, able to work independently and takes initiative
  • Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Ability to learn new content areas and new skills quickly
  • Professional attitude and work habits
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Languages : English and French required
