Job Overview

We are looking for experienced, motivated and Customer oriented candidates with over 10 years of experience in the automotive company in the field of logistics and warehouse processes management. Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for building the supply chain strategy as well as for creating and maintaining the proper standards of work within Logistics and Warehouse departments and continuous focus on processes improvement. It is also required to follow new standards and perform constant improvements depending on current requirements and needs. This role demands close cooperation with Production, Purchasing and Sales Managers as well as with order managers inside the organization.

One of the most important tasks is to work on creating a team, coach and mentor people belong the organization and also daily supervision over the performance of Logistics and Warehouse members in order to satisfy customer's needs and requirements.

Previous experience in working on Change Management project and applying Lean Manufacturing tools is considered an important competence.

Your Mission

  • Management of supply chain including customer care, logistics, warehouse processes as well as a part of procurement activities;
  • Develop an appropriate supply chain strategy to maximize customer satisfaction at the lowest possible cost;
  • Responsibility for guarantee a correct material volume, stock, material and documents flow;
  • Responsibility for shipments on time and in the right quantity and guarantee the correct transport (cost, quality, and delivery on time);
  • Works with freight forwards and transportation companies to set best route and rate (review terms and agreements);
  • Responsibility for building a proper communication between all the processes inside supply chain;
  • Introducing and maintaining proper standards of performance inside all the supply chain;
  • Introduction of changes in existing processes where required;
  • Defining KPIs for all supply chain processes and its constant monitoring;
  • Managing the personnel inside supply chain processes in order to improve their performance, build and raise the motivation and reach the set goals;
  • Introducing improvements aimed at optimization of customer care, logistics and warehouse processes;
  • Constant monitoring and analysis of supply chain processes costs;
  • Cooperation in new projects implementations;
  • Create a team and planning training and mentor activities in order to make the organization grow in terms of competences and hard and soft skills;
  • Leads supply chain team in executing best practices, improve the performance and measuring it through agreed upon KPI;
  • Support proper utilization of ERP and be part of the team of EDI implementation.

Your Profile

  • University background preferably in Supply Chain Management or Logistics Management;
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in a production company from automotive sector, preferably in the area of Logistics, Warehouse or Production;
  • Knowledge of supply chain processes supported by the several years of practice;
  • Previous experience at work in Lean Manufacturing environment (knowledge and experience in using Lean Manufacturing tools in every day work);
  • Ability to recognize the gaps and suggests the necessary improvements to be performed;
  • Experience in improvements introduction and change implementation including process automation;
  • Openness to look for and implementing best practices in supply chain processes (continuous improvement);
  • Problem solving tools;
  • Good command of English enabling fluent communication;
  • Knowledge of a second foreign language is welcome;
  • Previous experience in people management;
  • Ability to cooperate across different processes inside an organization;
  • Lean six sigma knowledge is a plus.
