Cebi International S.A., the mother company of the group based in the same premises as Cebi Luxembourg S.A., is looking for a Business Application Manager.

The Manager of Business Applications will lead the business application teams at Cebi group, overseeing the administration and strategic direction of business applications. The business application manager will contribute to digital transformation projects, ensuring the successful deployment of critical new corporate solutions.

His role involves developing, documenting, implementing, and maintaining standards and processes for corporate applications like ERP, CRM, PLM, or QMS.

Your Mission:

  • Develop the IT business applications roadmap in accordance with business needs, Enterprise architecture guidelines and recommendations, and following the technology trends in the manufacturing industry
  • Manage the Business Applications team (including hiring, performance reviews, etc.)
  • Lead the execution of group wide business applications projects
  • Manage business applications operational activities, including changes, upgrades, maintenance, and documentation
  • Implement “Software Lifecycle Management” process
  • Ensure that business applications comply with company information security policies
  • Ensure that users adhere to corporate business application, ensuring continuous communication, support and training
  • Responsible for the negotiation and monitoring of related contracts with external suppliers as well as the vendor management thereafter according to internal regulations in force
  • Responsible for the creation and update of the department’s procedures

Your Profile:

  • Master degree in Information Technology or equivalent
  • ITIL certification or an equivalent IT certification
  • Minimum 5 years managing IT Business Applications and teams preferably in manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience in the deployment and management of large business applications projects such as ERP
  • Familiar with enterprise-class solutions such as Enterprise resource planning (ERP), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Quality Management System (QMS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Human resources management systems (HRMS), Enterprise content management (ECM) systems and Content management systems (CMS)
  • Knowledge of Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) systems
  • Ability to manage and developing talents and teams
  • Project Management skills.
  • Expertize in business analysis, development and application lifecycle management
  • Knowledge of Application software architecture concept (UX, data model, database,…)
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture concepts
  • Strong business-oriented mindset based on value-added
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good analytical  and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and deal with unforeseen and urgent issues
  • Open-minded and solution oriented
  • Able to learn and  understand new technologies
  • Accurate and reliable
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Basic level in French or Italian is an asset
  • Available for business travel, up to 30% of the time
