Cebi International S.A., the mother company of the group based at the same premises as Cebi Luxembourg S.A., is currently looking for a Data Analyst for its IT department.

Your Mission:

As a Data Analyst, the mission encompasses both foundational data management and analytical transformation. This includes maintaining detailed data inventory including data dictionaries, conducting comprehensive data mapping for critical initiatives such as application migrations, and transforming raw data into actionable insights that support decision-making across business functions.

Positioned at the crossroads of data and strategy, the Data Analyst enables stakeholders to make informed decisions based on evidence, trends, performance metrics and KPIs, while ensuring data lineage and documentation are maintained for organizational knowledge and compliance purposes.

Your Responsibilities:

1. Data Management and Mapping

  • Master Data Management: build and maintain master data inventory and assess data quality across the organization.
  • Identify key datasets, owners, and business usage
  • Document data lineage and architecture diagrams
  • Assess the quality state of the data and prioritize corrective actions
  • Perform data profiling (completeness, consistency, validity, timeliness)
  • Make data governance measurable and sustainable by using data management tools.
  • Data Mapping & Integration: Map and integrate data from multiple sources across different systems to ensure consistency and compatibility.

2. Data Processing

  • Clean, filter, and prepare raw datasets by managing missing or inconsistent values, formatting variables, and ensuring data integrity.
  • Identify the most interesting data from a business requirements perspective.
  • Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA): Conduct descriptive analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • KPI Management: generate reports and dashboards for business units.

3. Communication

  • Report data-driven insights, performance metrics, quality issues, and usage feedback to the Data Governance Manager and IT Manager, enabling strategic decisions and continuous improvement within the data domain.

Your Profile:

Required qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field with a major in Data Analysis and Treatment
  • 3 years’ experience working as Data Specialist
  • Knowledge of business operations and the ability to align analysis with organizational goals
  • Strong experience in data modeling and data integration
  • Experience working with large datasets, data cleaning, and visualization tools
  • Good knowledge in analytical tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or R
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and take initiative
  • Willingness to learn new skills quickly
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Clear and concise communication of complex findings
  • Professional attitude and work habits
  • English is required

Assets:

  • Knowledge of Master Data Management tools like Informatica, SAP MDG, etc.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Power BI
  • Understanding of data governance, privacy, or compliance frameworks
  • French and Italian 

Travel :

  • Occasional travel may be required.
