In the context of the Innovation strategy of the CEBI Group, Cebi Luxembourg, is looking for a Project Engineer to integrate and support the Innovation team inside the R&D center for developing new solutions for its customers.

Through your work, you will play a key role in enabling Cebi to deliver best-in-class products and services to customers worldwide, driving growth and profitability for the business.

 

Your Mission:

  • Technical responsibility for product including design (info: Skills to use Catia but no design but also to guide the designer)
  • Participate in technical meetings with customers & justify technical decisions
  • Establish design follow-up (customer and internal design team)
  • Prepare compliance matrix for verifying technical requirements
  • Coordinate internal activities with: process, quality, costing, validation/laboratory team and production plant
  • Preparing Product Bill of Material
  • Pilot Design FMEA & Participate in the Process FMEA preparation
  • Lead redaction of Design Procedures and internal technical standards
  • Lead customers visits at Cebi and externally
  • Actively participate in new innovative projects for products development, contributing with expertise to drive successful outcomes
  • Responsible of project timing
  • Responsible of project budget follow up (including investments and direct cost)

 

Your Profile:

  • Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Mechatronics or a related field; 
  • alternatively, a technical school diploma combined with significant additional professional experience.
  • 3+ years’ experience in automotive: plastic parts or systems, actuators, sensors
  • Strong understanding of plastic Injection process. Knowledge of mold concepts and ability to follow molds manufacturing will be a plus. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
  • Self-motivated, curious and proactive, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Fluent in English. Additional languages would be plus (German, French, Italian)

 

Additional Information:

  • Based in Poland

  • Reporting to the remote Technical Center in Luxembourg
