Your Mission:
As an Application Administrator, your primary mission is to ensure the software application (Teamcenter from Siemens) is available for the business and operates securely. This involves identifying improvement areas and implementing necessary updates and security measures to maintain system integrity.
You will also manage incidents, support users, and collaborate closely with the Application Owner to minimize operational disruptions.
Your Responsibilities:
- Implementation: Ensure proper integration of the software application in the IT architecture
- Installation: Prepare, document, and execute the installation of the server and client software together with external partners
- Maintenance: Plan and execute maintenance (updates, patches) in coordination with the Application Owner
- Upgrade: Perform upgrades in coordination with the Application Owner
- Database Management: Work with the DB Administrator to maintain and keep the database secure, healthy, and up to date
- Issue Identification and Resolution: Work closely with the Application Stream Leader and the Application Owner to promptly address and resolve issues raised by end-users
- Support: Create and maintain Level 1 support documentation, perform Level 2 support, and manage Level 3 external support
- User Access Management: Create and maintain user accounts and access rights according to the authorization register provided by the Application Owner
- Software Availability: Monitor software availability and document and analyze any issues
- Compliance: Work closely with the Corporate Information Security Manager to ensure compliance with corporate policies
- Reporting: Monitor and report KPIs (number of tickets, system downtime) to the Application Owner on a monthly basis
- Documentation: Create and maintain operational documentation
Your Profile:
Required qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Knowledge of software development and functional analysis
- Basic knowledge of databases, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud environments
- Understanding of business processes related to application workflows
- Experience supporting business applications
- Knowledge of PLM software (Teamcenter) is an asset
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage complex troubleshooting situations
- Excellent communication skills
- Autonomous, proactive, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Team player mindset, collaborating with other administrators to provide seamless support
- French and fluent English required
- Italian is a plus
