The Business Controller will act as a strategic partner to the management team, providing financial insights and analysis to support decision-making, improve performance, and ensure financial integrity across operations.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
- Analyze variances between actuals, budget, and forecasts, and provide actionable insights.
Controlling & Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and group-level stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and group reporting standards.
Business Partnering
- Collaborate with operational departments (production, purchasing, R&D) to monitor KPIs and drive cost efficiency.
- Support investment decisions and project evaluations with financial modeling and ROI analysis.
Process Improvement
- Identify and implement improvements in financial processes and systems.
- Contribute to digitalization and automation initiatives within the finance function.
Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in controlling, ideally in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Fluency in English and French.
