Help define roles and responsibilities for data owners, data stewards, process owners, system owners, governance lead.
Facilitate workshops and working sessions with business and IT teams to turn governance principles into usable practices.
Support the evaluation and implementation of MDM capabilities and tools, ensuring that technology decisions are aligned with governance processes.

Prepare and deliver awareness and training materials to help teams understand and adopt data governance.
Track governance maturity, progress, risks, and adoption across the group.

Collaborative: able to work with business, IT, quality, supply chain, finance, and operational teams.
Clear communicator: able to explain data governance in plain language.
Persistent but realistic: able to drive adoption without creating unnecessary complexity.

Success Measures
The Data Governance Manager will be successful if they help the group achieve tangible progress such as:
Approved and adopted data governance policies and procedures.
Clear data ownership and stewardship roles for priority data domains.
A practical MDM operating model ready to support tool implementation.
Documented data flows and governance controls for priority processes.
Defined data quality rules and issue-management workflows.
Improved awareness and adoption of governance practices across business and IT teams.
A realistic roadmap for growing governance maturity over time.
Travel Requirements
The role requires occasional travel to the Group’s entities/sites to support data governance activities and collaborate with local teams.
