Your Mission:
As a Network & Security Engineer you are responsible for maintaining and optimizing the organization’s network & security infrastructure that supports the IT services.
As an IT Security Coordinator, you oversee and coordinate security measures within the organization’s IT systems. You work closely with internal IT teams and the external Security Operations Center (SOC) to ensure that the IT infrastructure remains secure and protected against potential cyber threats. You also act as the main point of contact with the Information Security Department.
Your Responsibilities:
1. Network & Infrastructure Management
- Manage network and security infrastructure and troubleshoot issues (incident management)
- Investigate and identify root causes of major incidents (problem management)
- Configure network and security systems to ensure reliable operations
- Deploy and manage network components
- Liaise with telecom providers for WAN setup and management
- Communicate with remote support teams and external IT suppliers
2. Change & Operations Management
- Record, pilot, and implement changes
- Ensure continuity and performance of IT services
- Maintain documentation and operational manuals
3. IT Security Coordination
- Develop and implement IT security procedures in collaboration with IT teams and the Information Security Department
- Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices
- Design, implement, and manage security solutions (firewalls, web protection, email gateway, antivirus, etc.)
- Manage security incidents, including investigation, impact assessment, and remediation
- Stay up to date with emerging security threats and technologies
Your Profile:
Required qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure and security or a similar role
- Professional certifications such as CISSP is an asset
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001
- ITIL Foundation certification
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage incidents effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Experience in supplier relationship management
- Fluent in English
- French is an asset
