Your mission:

As SAP Enterprise Application Lead, your mission is to ensure the effective management, governance, evolution and adoption of SAP Cloud ERP across the organisation.

Acting as a senior SAP expert within the Enterprise Applications team, you will provide functional and strategic leadership for the overall SAP landscape, ensuring alignment between business needs, SAP capabilities, governance principles and the ERP roadmap. While the role may retain ownership of one or more SAP business streams, its primary focus is to support the successful implementation, governance, adoption, integration and continuous improvement of SAP Cloud ERP across the organisation.

Your Responsibilities:

SAP Enterprise Application Leadership & Coordination

  • Act as the senior functional owner and subject matter expert for assigned SAP business streams, leading complex analyses, solution design reviews, testing, release validations, adoption and continuous improvement activities.
  • Ensure alignment between SAP Cloud ERP, Group standards and business objectives, providing expert guidance, impact assessments, risk evaluations and solution recommendations.
  • Lead and coordinate SAP implementation, deployment, enhancement, migration and transformation initiatives within assigned business domains.
  • Identify opportunities for process harmonisation, standardisation, optimisation and increased business value across SAP business streams.
  • Coordinate priorities, dependencies, risks and initiatives across SAP streams, enterprise applications and business stakeholders, contributing to governance, prioritisation and strategic planning.
  • Guide and support colleagues through functional expertise, practical advice and the sharing of best practices.

Support to Head of Enterprise Applications

  • Support SAP roadmap planning, prioritisation, governance, portfolio reviews and management reporting.
  • Provide senior input on business priorities, resource requirements, implementation risks and decision preparation.

Stakeholder and Partner Management

  • Act as a senior point of contact for business stakeholders, IT teams and external partners, leading workshops, solution discussions and cross-functional alignment activities.
  • Support vendor management, service reviews and resolution of complex issues.

SAP Transformation and Adoption

  • Drive change management, training, user adoption and process harmonisation activities, supporting deployment readiness, risk mitigation and value realisation.

Continuous Improvement and Performance Management

  • Define and monitor KPIs, reporting and performance indicators for SAP solutions, providing data-driven insights to support operational and management decisions.
  • Identify opportunities for optimisation, standardisation, automation and AI-enabled improvements.

Your profile: 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, IT, Economics or another relevant field.

  • 10 or more years of hands-on SAP experience, including major SAP implementation, migration and upgrade initiatives, with strong exposure to SAP Cloud ERP, gained in consulting, solution ownership, ERP or digital transformation programmes.

  • Strong practical expertise in SAP-enabled business processes and one or more SAP business streams, such as Finance, Source to Pay, Plan to Produce, Lead to Cash, Supply Chain, People & Organisation, or Cross Application integration.

  • Proven experience leading or coordinating cross-functional teams, workstreams or business domains, as well as complex initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, business functions, countries and external partners in international and multicultural environments.

  • Experience in change management, user adoption, training and organisational transformation initiatives.

  • Experience supporting governance, roadmap planning, vendor management, deployment and continuous improvement activities within large-scale transformation programmes and enterprise application implementations. Familiarity with enterprise applications beyond SAP is considered an advantage.

  • Strong SAP Cloud ERP, business process and enterprise application expertise, with the ability to translate business needs into practical solutions and measurable business outcomes.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-support skills, combined with a pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with business users, senior leaders, IT teams and external partners.

  • Strong leadership, coordination, governance and organisational capabilities, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.

  • Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and drive initiatives to completion.

  • Relevant certifications are considered an advantage, such as SAP certifications related to SAP Cloud ERP, SAP S/4HANA Cloud or SAP Activate, PRINCE2®, PMP®, Agile or other recognised project, programme or enterprise application certifications.

  • Professional fluency in English is required.
  • French, Italian or other Group languages are assets.

 

Travel required:

  • Travel is an integral part of the role and will be required to support deployments, workshops, project activities and collaboration across Group entities.
