Cebi Group continues its journey for a more sustainable future. After Cebi Luxembourg, Cebi Spain and Cebi Motors, it is Cebi Italy Ancona’s turn to improve their ecological footprint. They  recently fitted 487 panels, producing an energy equivalent to the annual consumption of 62 households or driving 900,000 km by vehicle, more than 2 times the distance from the Earth to the Moon. With this, Cebi Italy Ancona will be able to reduce their carbon footprint by 217 tons of CO2 every year.

“Commitment to carbon footprint reduction in our activities as a manufacturer is crucial in today’s world, where sustainability and ethics are at the forefront of global concerns. Therefore, we are seizing all opportunities to reduce greenhouse gas emissions”, says Lynn Elvinger, Member of the Executive Board of Cebi Group. “Putting solar panels on the roof of all our entities is one of them.”

Another photovoltaic system is already planned at Lodi, where more than 800 panels should be installed this year. Other sustainable initiatives are also ongoing at all our production plants such as the replacement of old machinery for more efficient and greener equipment, heat recovery, etc. Our goal is to further reduce Cebi’s carbon footprint in the coming years.
